Health

Every resident of Mumbai deserves access to quality healthcare infrastructure. Addressing the root issues of access, cost, and quality requires localized provision of healthcare, for which 1000 Mohalla clinics are to be created, while providing 212 free tests and 1,300 free medicines to reduce the OPD load on our hospitals.

Education

Quality civic education allows children to become conscious citizens, and overcome economic or social barriers. To improve the access to quality education, 1000 new BMC schools are to be constructed in Mumbai, along with the development of computer labs, playgrounds, and teacher trainings at par with international standards.

Transport

Making transport FAST – Fast, Accessible, Sustainable & Clean, and Time-Bound. The priority is to make Mumbai pothole free, along with an expansion of BEST, with students and women availing free bus passes. 10,000 new electric buses are to be rolled out to promote sustainability, and reduce the dependence on private transport.

Sanitation

Hygiene is a civic right that all Mumbaikars must be entitled to irrespective of privilege. Decentralized sewage treatment as per NGT norms, along with the construction of 1,00,000 new toilets in slum areas for equitable access to sanitation facilities.

Electricity

Resource-conscious provision of electricity is intended with the aim of catering to every citizen’s needs. To that end, up to 200 units of electricity will be provided free of charge, through BEST, in Mumbai.

Water

Water will be accessible to every Mumbaikar without disparities. All residents of Mumbai will have access to piped water and sewage networks, with a provision of free 20,000 liters of water per household through metered water connections.
