Dwijendra is a former political journalist with over 25 years of experience. He was an elected executive member of “Mantralaya ani Vidhimandal Vartahar Sangh”, founder President of “ Hindi Patrakar Sangh”. He has been honoured with many prestigious awards for journalism. His contribution for the social justice and dedication for public welfare is outstanding.

Manu is a young entrepreneur, a freelancer in the field of IT and a business consultant. For the past 11 years, he has been involved in a diverse spectrum of social and political work. He has been with Aam Aadmi Party since its inception. He handles many assignments during its key elections and believes in the principles of swaraj and transformation of the society.

RUBEN MASCARENHAS

Ruben is a technologist, a social entrepreneur and has been at the forefront of the India Against Corruption movement. He has led many protests and has earned the love of Mumbaikars through his service during the Covid-19 pandemic. He launched a covid patient helpline and provided food to millions at the verge of covid-19.

SUMITRA SHRIVASTAV
(Working President)

Is a practising lawyer, who has been vocally advocating for women’s right by raising social consciousness, and by bringing societal change in the city of Mumbai. Her role in exposing scams of the Slum Redevelopment Authority is hailed by the people of Mumbai, and shows of her relentless work-ethic and her dedication to the cause against corruption.

MOH. MUSTAN TAMBAWALA
(Executive Member)

Is a management postgraduate, and did his engineering from the IIT. He has worked as the CEO in an American corporate company. However, he took early retirement to work for public welfare, and he deeply believes that political change can be manifested through social movements. He has deeply devoted himself to the people; his empathetic & philanthropic ideas will inspire dissenters and oppressed sections of society, to rise above all hurdles in their way to success.

VIKAS KOLI
(Executive Member)

Is a social entrepreneur and reformer, who has dedicated his life towards working for the aboriginal communities of Mumbai, which have been neglected by the government. He has been advocating for political, social and economic rights of indigenous people of Mumbai and rallies behind the cause of increasing their participation in mainstream politics.

PRAKASH GOR
(Executive Member)

Is a businessman who joined the party, to help preserve the pillars of democracy; and to stand with dissenters & the poor sections of Mumbai. He worked earlier for the Indian National Congress for 14 years, and his formidable contribution to mainstream politics and social movements is respected by all.

ADMIRAL (RETD) IC RAO
(President - Policy & Manifesto)

Is a retired Naval Engineer who joined the AAP in 2014. He is an election strategist and has worked in all AAP elections in roles ranging from strategy to Door-to-Door Campaigning. He has served as the Director (Projects) of BHP Engineers Ltd., engaged in bulk conveying systems and mobile crushers. Since 2014, he is involved in APLI Mumbai, a citizens forum striving to promote the redevelopment of Mumbai’s Port Lands.

ANIL GARG
(Executive Member)

Is the School Bus Owners Association President, a social worker and eminent philanthropist. In the India against Corruption, he provided indispensable field support by organising transportation and logistics at the peak of the movement. His relentless struggle to protect the rights of common people keeps us inspired.

ALAM CHAUDHARY
(Executive Member)

Has worked as a real estate consultant, and is a prominent activist who has led the protests against electricity and petrol price hikes in Mumbai. He has a formidable calibre in managing logistics and fieldwork, and has coordinated several social activities and events as a party member.

 

DHANANJAY SHINDE
(Special Invitees)

is a stalwart ideologue of the legacies given by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Chh. Rajashri Shahu, Mahatma Phule, Savitribai Phule, Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar. He started as a social activist in 1991 and has dedicated his life to the people of India through the Aam Aadmi Party.

DR. DINESH SINGH

Dr. Dinesh Singh has been part of Aam Aadmi Party since the India Against Corruption movement. As a doctor, he worked immensely during the Covid-19 pandemic, actively offering his services to patients remotely, even after testing positive. His inspiration comes from Delhi Model of administration, and has established Mohalla clinics, and blood/plasma donation camps in Mumbai.

KASHINATH KALMANDARGA

is a pillar of Aam Aadmi Party and has managed several independent social projects and movements. He firmly believes in civic rights and has worked tirelessly to achieve social justice for the marginalised. His contribution to India Against Corruption and other social movements deserves adulation, and his political will inspires us to move forward.

KISHORE MANDHYAN

Is the former deputy director and political director of Peacekeeping, Human Rights and Humanitarian Affairs in the Cabinet of the United Nation’s Secretary General. His contribution to the field of Human Rights is unmatched, and we are happy to walk on the principles that he follows.

KUNAL PAWAR

is an enterprising young volunteer who has played several key roles as a student activist from his college days. Technology and social media are Kunal’s forte, and he has also been involved in crowd-based fundraising, social work and activism as the President of SOCH during the first wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Is a lawyer, and for him, Democracy is part of human dignity and that dignity can be upheld through basic rights and necessities – like roads, health infrastructures and education, and by providing this, any political party isn’t doing the public a favour, but fulfilling their social responsibility. He firmly believes that “heads should be held high and hearts should be without fear” in a democracy. We are honoured to walk on the path laid down by him.

Is a person who believes in change being inevitable, and that AAP Mumbai must bring about a large-scale political transformation for the betterment of Mumbai’s civic amenities, such as that in Delhi. Mr. Malik Farid has been doing social work in Mumbai for over a decade.

Mr. Ateeque Khan has been consistently working in public welfare, and creating social awareness among the youth of Mumbai by exposing the futile discourse of past Governments. He has the aim of educating the poor sections of Govandi by helping them chase their dreams of becoming an IPS officer, and providing them the space to study. His work for the provisions of rations to Mumbai’s poor is praiseworthy and laudable.

Have organized several protests in Tehsil Andheri, Amboli Police station and many more. Have been raising voices for social causes such as Getting homeless people get their ration card and ending the provision of providing ration card for admission of kids in schools.
